While no one at Liverpool really wants to talk about the need to eventually replace Mo Salah, the Egyptian is 31 and is subject to intense interest from Saudi Arabia.

The Athletic ran a piece about a potential Salah successor — and they claimed that Liverpool admires Jarrod Bowen.

The Englishman has three goals and an assist in four opening Premier League games for West Ham this season.

In three and a half years with the Hammers, the 26-year-old has mentioned 43 goals and 32 assists in 162 appearances. These are not exactly Salah's numbers obviously but there's a belief Jarrod will flourish in a more attacking side.

The report doesn't say anything about negotiations or fees — after all, Salah is not leaving at the moment.
